AZ 6000 DDS

The AZ DDS (Direct Drive System) mounts are one of 10Microns latest projects. A new generation of professional robotic mounts, in altazimuthal fork configuration with software integrated derotator/focuser.

Thanks to a long experience in robotic astronomical mounts, 10Micron can now offer this solution specially developed for professional and research applications such as astronomical and satellite fields, which need a really demanding grade of quality and affordability; the AZ mounts integrate all the latest technologies and technical acquirements in mechanical, electrical, electronics, software and design fields: any single feature and component has been accurately studied in order to reach the highest level of efficiency that has always characterized 10Micron products; likewise 10Micron has integrated many new security features in order to ensure the safety of both the instrument and the operator.

The AZ6000 DDS is tipically designed to accommodate an optics with a maximum optical diameter of  about 31″ diameter, and we can alwo supply a complete telescope configuration. The Mount is normaly available alone for Cassegrain focus type telescopes (standard version) and we can supply the correct flanges to accomodate the customer’s optics. A Nasmyth focus configuration is available as option.

Ask our team for any customized configuration.
