GM 1000 HPS – Michael Deger

GM1000 HPS GoTo is the latest mount from the Italian manufacturer 10 Micron Comec Technology. It is a further development of the proven QCI models and, in addition to the worm gears, has high-precision absolute encoders mounted directly on the right ascension and declination axes. With the help of a sophisticated alignment algorithm, the GM1000 HPS allows exposures with long exposure times without the need for additional autoguiding. The load capacity of the mount for astrophotography is given with 25kg. The GM1000 HPS was tested with the QCI control on a fixed steel pillar. ….>read full here (german)
