With the new building of the Galileum, the observatory has also got a new home. However, due to the limited space available, the observatory in the Galileum is not generally open to visitors, but is initially reserved for members of the Walter Horn Society. However, the telescope image can be transmitted to the planetarium dome during special events.
Those who want to take a look at the "real" stars themselves and with their own eyes can do so in good weather following selected events. Free complementary tickets for a maximum of 20 people are therefore only available at the box office in the Galileum.
