My GM1000HPS on May 14th 21UT:
I took off the hood from the mount on the balcony, set the mount time and refraction with the command “mountsend”, connected Cartes du Ciel from my main computer, slewed to Vega, shifted back to observatory computer and fired off a short exposure just to see how well the scope was doing after two days of sleep under the cover.
No need to align, no need to sync, just go ahead. Well, it could be closer to center, couldn’t it?
(only it should be a little bit darker here in Sweden…)
